Below are maintenance tips for your pets.
*Do not bath your pet unless you thoroughly brush & comb prior to bathing. Use shampoo specifically made for your pet. The pH level is different for humans and pets.
*Never scissor out tight matts that are close to the skin. You can easily cut your pet.
*When changing your pet's food, mix it in with the old food and gradually change it over. This reduces the chance of an upset stomach.
*If you wait too long between grooms, it is difficult, if not impossible, to do longer cuts. However, a regular (thorough) brushing and combing can extend the time between grooms.
*We recommend partial grooms for breeds which require high maintenance. A partial is done between regular grooms and not as a substitute to a full groom. Your pet is brushed out and bathed. Its nails are clipped, ears are plucked, and the anal glands are expressed. The hair is also neatened on the belly, head and pads.
